Christmas Circle Launches $25,000 Park Improvement Campaign

Irrigation upgrades and lawn improvements are underway at the heart of Borrego Springs
Christmas Circle Community Park began repairing and upgrading its aging irrigation system in early August 2026. The project is expected to improve irrigation efficiency while also beginning to transform the appearance of the park.
The all-volunteer Board of Directors is asking the Borrego Springs community and park visitors to help fund the project, with a goal of raising $25,000 by Dec. 31, 2026.
Improving Christmas Circle
Christmas Circle Community Park has been at the heart of Borrego Springs since the early 1950s. The park is supported through grants, sponsorships, advertising and community donations.
In addition to the irrigation upgrades, the Board is overseeing maintenance of the lawns, landscaping, trees, restrooms and public spaces. Preparations are also underway for fall re-seeding of the grass lawn and the annual Borrego Days Festival.
The Board is also securing a new two-year landscape maintenance contract.
Another visible change is the community entrance sign, which was recently updated from the ram to the iconic Borrego sun, thanks to Frank Murillo.
Help Support the Park
Tax-deductible donations help pay for irrigation improvements, landscaping, tree care, restroom cleaning and general upkeep.
The Board is encouraging residents, businesses and visitors who enjoy Christmas Circle to consider making a one-time, monthly or annual contribution.
Fundraising Goal: $25,000 by Dec. 31, 2026
Donations will help keep Christmas Circle Community Park maintained and looking its best for residents and visitors now and for years to come.
